These wriggly animals do more than just provide food for other animals. Kids can get hands on and participate in activities to learn more.

August 8: Christian Clearing House Spaghetti Dinner

The organizations will be honoring local law enforcement by offering them the opportunity to eat free. The community is encouraged to attend the dinner to show their appreciation.

August 9: Pretzel Making


The Children’s Museum of Findlay hosts a fun and tasty workshop for kids.

August 10: Counterfeit Currency: Funny Money – Don’t Be Fooled!


This free presentation will help businesses and community members learn how to recognize counterfeit currency.

August 11: The Alchemy of Memory – Carole Elchert


Professor Carole Elchert displays photos taken from her travels in Cuba, Nepal, and Tibet, followed by a presentation on an in-process documentary.

August 12: Eliot Lewis at the Jones Mansion (CANCELLED AS OF 8/10)


Eliot has worked with some of the biggest artists in the music business. This is a benefit concert to restore the upper porch of the mansion.

August 13: Sunday Painting Workshop


Instructor, Kathryn Strong, teaches a step-by-step painting class for any skill level. No experience necessary!

BONUS: August 11-13 Flag City BalloonFest


This annual event includes fun for everyone: balloon light shows, balloon flights, many different kinds of rides (pony, helicopter, balloon…!), beer tent, music, kids’ events, and more!
