After 6 years and a few fires (literally) Dark Horse is in a good position to make building improvements to better serve their customers and staff. With the help of Millstream Building Systems, the work will take place over the summer.
Owner, Neeli Oler, says, “We don’t want make the restaurant ‘fancy’, just more cheery and updated. Limited parking has always been a complaint, and that is something we are going to address. I will finally have my own office, as opposed to my special seat at the end of the bar. Food and menu will remain the same.”
They will close the dining room for a few weeks later this summer while some of these improvements are being made. Social Findlay will do our best to keep you updated on this. In the mean time, Neeli says, ‘please excuse our mess, but we are still open for business!’
There will be 2 phases of improvements:
Outside: In progress right now, and should be finished in a month.

  • Expanding parking lot
  • Creating a new foyer for waiting

Inside:

  • New bathrooms
  • floors
  • paint
  • office
  • new walk-in cooler
