Human Trafficking and Advocacy with Leadership
November 5 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pmFREE
David Zach, the lead singer and songwriter for the rock band Remedy Drive, whose work focuses on abolishing human trafficking, will be speaking on how “Advocacy Goes with Leadership” at the University of Findlay on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m. This free, public presentation will be held at the Winebrenner Building’s TLB Auditorium. Donations toward efforts to eradicate human trafficking will be accepted at the door.
Zach will share about his personal journey that has led him to be a part of covert operations internationally with the goal of ending sex slavery. His passion and advocacy have provided him with a leadership platform to challenge others to find their passions and to encourage them to see how leadership and advocacy correlate.
Remedy Drive has recorded two counter-trafficking albums, and has donated more than $350,000 toward the anti-trafficking organization “The Exodus Road.”
Zach’s visit is being sponsored by UF’s Student Activities Board.
