ENTRY 2) Name: Jupiter Suarez

After her family died in a car wash accident, Jupiter decided to gallivant across the country, trying her hand as a professional chicken groomer, ticket taker at Burning Man, and international theremin star, Jupiter decided that her passion was sign spinning. After training in Los Angeles at a T-Mobile store, she decided that she couldn’t take the heat of California, and headed east, where she found herself in Findlay, Ohio. Somehow, the sun in Ohio, had turned her into a mannequin, and now Jupiter is waiting for her lonely department store employee to turn her back into a real girl. Fin.

Mandy Quin (pronounced mandikin) is the daughter of a musical legend from way up north and a mother with deep roots in French Wine country. Almost from birth, her hunger for knowledge and thirst for answers powered her through an eclectic existence and a journey that led her to our front door. After becoming Valedictorian at her high school (some alums are Snoop Dog, Cameron Diaz, Carl Weathers and Nate Thiebaud) she went on to master music at Berkley. Her Musical passion drew he away from her Cali lifestyle to the city that never sleeps and a house gig in SOHO. But there in lay the problem, her piano gigs barely paid for the wine habit she developed due to her mother’s French wine heritage. One does not purchase a Chateau Latour from the tip jar. Necessity was the cab that whisked her to graduate school at MIT where she was top of her class and eventually landed a job in the space industry. Her work on the Saturn V motor helped to send America to the moon and back. By this time, Mandy had a nice little wine stash at her Sandusky Ohio apartment but when the Apollo program shut down , she was once again, out of a job and forced to drink pavement pounders. It was Kismet when MIT offered a full fellowship which put her back in the two most important things in her life: Wine and Academia. She received her PhD and was courted by the US Air Force to work on stealth aerodynamics for the F-177 Nighthawk. This job secured her financial freedom and cemented her name in the annals of flight next to Amelia Earhart. But as this story started, her hunger for knowledge and thirst for answers was insatiable and she eventually left government work to pursue her love of Wine, receiving a master’s in wine. And now, here we are in the present. This maverick of a girl decided to spend the rest of her life at the only place in the world she would never hunger for a 5 star meal or thirst for a Chateau Lafite. The GatheringWine! And why would she ever desire to move. The staff is always friendly to her and knowledgeable, the Chef’s ever changing menu keeps her completely interested and satisfied, and they never seem to run out of the best Outfits Couture to dress her in.
