ABOUT:
Chris is the son of Becky and Michael Burrier. Born in 2003, Chris was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia. The doctors at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, have recommended a life-saving liver transplant. An estimated $60,000 is being raised by Findlay volunteers.
With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure. The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity
dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses. In Findlay, volunteers are raising funds for COTA in honor of transplant patients like local teen, Chris Burrier.
This is Chris’s rebellion. He refuses to be kept down by Biliary Atresia. While waiting for the call that a liver has been found, Chris and his family enjoy doing things together like Pokemon Go!
