Trinity Lutheran School was founded in Jenera in 1948. There are currently 36 students enrolled from preschool through 8th grade. Students learn in multi-grade classrooms (2 grades per room), and benefit from a 7:1 student-to-teacher ratio.

Pricipal Justin Eternick notes that “The student teacher ratio really allows us to push our students” by providing the attention and support to help them reach their full potential. “The majority of our parents come back and say how great TLS was for their kids, and how it allowed them to excel in high school.”

While Religion class is part of the curriculum, non-church members are more than welcome at the school. Free busing within a 10-mile radius is available, and drop-off points allow students beyond that radius to attend. One such location is Immanuel Lutheran in Findlay.

Beyond standard curriculum, students are able to take music lessons, and participate in a variety of sports such as cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, track, and soccer .

The school is holding an open house on January 31st from 5 – 7 pm. Interested parents and students can learn more about the school, tour the facilities, view the curriculum, and meet teachers and current families. There will even be onsite registration for the 2018-2019 school year. Pizza, cookies and snacks will be available, plus a fun scavenger hunt for small children that come along with their families. Tuition assistance is available.
