After last year’s success, the United Way of Hancock County is currently in the midst of their 2nd annual online auction. Local small businesses donated over 60 items, ranging from gift certificates to event tickets, and beyond. There’s a good selection of more out-of-the-box items, too. For example, there’s a year’s supply of doughnuts from Fort Findlay Coffee & Doughnut Shoppe, dinner for 4 with Mayor Lydia Mihalik, and a custom pet portrait.
Cooper Tire donated 2 2-day passes to the Professional Bull Riding Chicago Invitational on January 13th & 14th. Tickets are valued at $100 each per day, meaning a total value of $1,200! Another hot item this year’s is a $50 gift certificate and Table of 6 to the grand opening at the Findlay Brewing Company’s new location next Spring.
Bidding ends at 7pm on Saturday, December 2nd, so don’t wait to take a look at what’s up for grabs! Have no fear of being out-bid without a chance to catch up: you’ll get an email or text notification if someone raises the stakes. To view all auction items, click here.
Winning bidders will receive a verified receipt with instructions on how to pick up their prizes. In most cases, this will involve picking up directly from the local business.
