The Tiffin Avenue Wendy’s location is currently being remodeled. The drive-thru will remain open as work is underway. Social Findlay spoke with a manager on April 18th. The restaurant is expected to fully reopen in early May as the process takes about 2.5 weeks.
In addition to the interior work visible below, the exterior is also being given a modern look, like the Trenton Ave. location (example pictured below)
The same restaurant was damaged in an arson attack in June 2011. The damage was estimated at $1 million. That fire was set the same night as a fire at the Tiffin Ave. Burger King.
13 ABC’s Restaurant Report Card revealed on April 6th that the restaurant had 11 health violations in their most recent inspection. Corporate took this opportunity to remodel the restaurant entirely, and start anew.
