For months the property at 408 S. Main St., between Logan’s Irish Pub and the Japan West restaurant, has been under heavy construction. The building, which formerly housed Gaslight Gifts, was purchased by Nickolas Asset Management, Llc and mostly demolished. The facade of the building has been covered while the construction and remodeling has been taking place. However, today the protective covering has been removed to provide a glimpse of what the completed building will look like.

Opening the 1st Quarter of 2020, the front of the building will be illuminated with 3 large copper real gas light. The second floor, named the Gaslight Lofts, offers potential residents 4 “upscale” 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartments while the first floor will be the new home of The Baker’s Cafe, a State Bank branch and an additional 1,500 sq. ft. of office/retail space available with a liquor license available.
