New to downtown Findlay in 2017, First Glance Ultrasound Studio and Boutique is located at 327 S. Main Street. Owner, Maribeth Toumazos gave us a tour. The business offers a range of ultrasound options, including 2D & 3D scans, a boutique, photography services, and now – a gender reveal party area!
Gender reveal parties have been on the rise in the last few years, with parents-to-be looking for fun and memorable ways to share the big announcement. First Glance offers a range of ultrasound and gender reveal packages. Friends and family are welcome to join in, and stick around for a party. Book a 3D scan, bring a cake and treats, and use the room for an hour! There is also a selection of fun gender reveal items that can be filled with pink or blue powder.
Here’s an example of one of the gender reveal items available at First Glance:
Walking through the S. Main Street door at the front of the business, you enter the boutique, which offers clothing and accessories for newborns up to size 6T. Parents-to-be can make wish lists of items from the boutique. Guests to the gender reveal scan and party can purchase items from the list as gifts. Signs with information about scan packages are displayed in the boutique, providing an idea of what’s available.
Just past the boutique, an area is setup for photoshoots. Kristen Joan Photography offers photography sessions for newborns up to 6-year-olds. Walking through the photography studio, you reach the scanning studio. It is located at the quiet back of the building, and is furnished with a comfortable bed for the mother-to-be. Relaxing lighting and cute decorations set the mood, and a big TV faces the bed, so Baby is visible to everyone in the room. For those looking to hold a gender reveal party, a confetti cannon is available, too!
