According to the Delphos Herald, an A&W restaurant will be coming to Findlay down the line. The restaurant will open within the next 3 years. QSR Magazine announced that 8 new locations would be opening around Northwest Ohio.
The Findlay location will be owned by Rooty’s Family Restaurant, LLC, which is owned by the Unruh family of Elida, Ohio. Social Findlay reached out to the family for more information, but has not yet heard back. Social Findlay also contacted the A&W headquarters, and is awaiting more information. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
According to QSR, A&W is the oldest operating restaurant chain in America. It was founded in California in the early 1920s.
