A group, Heal The Earth, protests outside of Marathon in downtown Findlay in opposition to a proposed pipeline in North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin in which Marathon Petroleum Corp. has an ownership interest.
Marathon bought a permit to keep people off the sidewalk in front of its building today as a safety concern because of continuing nearby construction on the Marathon campus.
Today is also the day of the annual shareholders meeting at Marathon.
