New Mural in Downtown Findlay?

123 East Main Cross Street is a compliment to the history of downtown Findlay. You can see it in the brickwork, ornamental soffits and period architecture.
While doing research for Best Downtown Storefronts, we came to appreciate the beauty of the building that is home to the Findlay Hancock Alliance, Economic Development, Chamber of Commerce, and Visitors Bureau.
The heart of this structure is the team inside, working hard to bring growth and prosperity to the Findlay/Hancock County community.
The charm of its residents is reflected in the community they are a part of building. This property is located in a region that is getting a lot of attention for its amazing murals. Oscar Velasquez of Macedonia has contributed some absolutely gorgeous murals to the walls of Findlay businesses. The most recent set of murals depict two of Vincent Van Gogh’s famous paintings: Starry Night and Café Terrace at Night.
With this being said, we couldn’t help but notice a blank canvas on the side of the Findlay Hancock Alliance building (a.k.a. a perfect place for a new mural). Findlay residents have spoken and we want more murals!
Of course, this is not an official petition. We are just curious to see if you had a choice on a mural idea, what would it be? We had some fun and came up with few based on popular paintings, album covers and pop culture.
