Construction began at the Northeast corner of Co. Rd. 236 & Tiffin Avenue in 2017. Formerly a veterinary clinic, 15028 US-224 is now home to a brand new building that houses the state-of-the-art NWO Orthopedic Surgery Center. The facility’s grand opening will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 10th. A ribbon cutting with the Chamber of Commerce will take place at 4:30pm, followed by an open house until 8pm.
5 physicians own and run the outpatient surgery center, which focuses on orthopedics, pain management, and podiatry. Some examples of procedures that will occur here include carpal tunnel surgery, knee arthroscopy, shoulder surgery, total joint replacement, podiatry, and pain management injections.
The main building on campus, NWO Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, offers physical and occupational therapy, imaging (MRI, CT, X-Ray), and a chiropractor (Dr. Heather Heck). The third building on campus is the NWO “Express Clinic” – an urgent care clinic that also handles occupational medicine, physicals, and a health and wellness program.
The surgery center is tastefully decorated with a calming blue & white color palette. Family members can relax in the waiting room with a drink from the refreshment station. See it all for yourself at the open house on Wednesday, April 10th from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm.
The NWO campus extends to Tiffin, Fostoria, Fremont, and Bowling Green.
