This Friday is the spring edition of downtown Findlay’s popular biannual ArtWalk! The Arts Partnership has a map and event guide ready for you to view online here.
Dozens of downtown businesses will be displaying art while live music serenades you. Even empty buildings are often opened up for the evening! Rain or shine, there is a lot to see, so don’t miss out!
Some staples in the ArtWalk involve the walk up to the 2nd floor of the Jones Building (corner of W. Crawford and Main – doors on both streets) to say hi to local artists in their studios.
The Findlay Art League’s annual Members Show opening reception will be taking place. Browse their gift shop for affordable work by local artists.
The Jones Mansion (313 W. Sandusky) will be featuring the work of Marianna Hofer, a local artist and professor passed away suddenly last year. Their bar will be ready to serve you classic cocktails, beer, and wine in a gorgeous historic setting.
In addition to the venues listed above, many downtown restaurants will have live music, and local artists’ work. Be on the lookout for sales in various stores, and later opening hours, too! Downtown has acquired several new businesses since November’s ArtWalk.
