Whether you prefer rocking out at a club or winding down with some acoustic at the local coffee shop, Findlay boasts a diverse selection of venues to catch live music (Check out our article Top 5 Local Bands for some of the gigs you might catch). On Fridays and Saturdays, you’ll find live music or a DJ at Nino’s Bar. $2 cover charge, or free with a student ID. 21+ on the weekend.
Alexandria’s has a beautiful events venue where you’ll be able to catch some of your favorite local music (they also host comedy shows, one of which you’ll be able to catch this Friday).
Friday nights at Coffee Amici are Open Mic Nights. Every Saturday features local and regional talent, and is usually free. See the Coffee Amici homepage for a complete schedule of upcoming performances.
The University of Findlay hosts a variety of musical shows throughout the year. Of note are the Donnell Broadway Concert Series (January will host Liz Callaway) and the free Music Bach’s Concert Series (February will feature guitarist Keegan McClellan at the AMU).
As Findlay’s “#1 Party Bar and Nightclub,” Yucatan hosts a number of musical events throughout the month, including live music every Friday from Midnight-2:00AM.
