Dietsch Brothers Fine Chocolates & Ice Cream

  • There’s a good reason this legendary local ice cream & confection business has been around for 80 years. It has also been in the top 5 Best Ice Cream in the country for several years running, according to Trip Advisor. Dietsch’s is open year round.

Wilson’s

  • While their notorious ordering technique is a thing of the past, the burgers and malts at this landmark Findlay eatery are still worth the stop!

South Main Street Homes

  • Drive or walk past the houses of South Main Street. Grand historic homes dating back to the town’s late Victorian gas and oil boom line South Main Street from downtown to 6th Street. On Christmas Eve, their sidewalks are lined with luminaries, and Father Christmas and his wife are available to greet walkers.

Downtown Findlay

Our downtown has no shortage of restaurants, bars, and shopping. With 2 dozen restaurants and coffee shops & a dozen bars, there’s something for everyone, every meal, and every dietary need. Museums

  • Findlay is home to the Mazza Museum, which houses a renowned collection of art from children’s books. 
  • The Hancock Historical Museum offers a glimpse into our town’s rich history. They have multiple buildings on their campus.
  • The Children’s Museum is located inside the Findlay Village Mall. If you have young visitors, this is a great fun and educational way for them to pass the time!

Seasonal

  • Like Ice Cream? Some great soft-serve locations open up in the early spring, and stay open until Labor Day, or later. Here’s a list of Top Local Ice Cream.
  • In the summer, Latham Courtyard (a downtown patio area) is home to a Tuesday lunchtime series, and Rally in the Alley on Fridays.
  • Check our calendar for special annual events such as ArtWalk (May & November), Boogie on Main (June), Balloon Fest (August), Car Tunes on Main (August), Oktoberfest (September), and many more!
  • Keep an eye out for the Findlay food trucks! On Wednesdays in the summer, they hold court at the MCPA.
